This download + print unit study was created to raise awareness about the importance and fragility of chinook salmon to the marine and land ecosystems, and to inspire action to help save this species. In order to ensure that the material was relevant and correct, I collaborated with leading salmon researchers and field scientists from the Pacific Northwest.
In this study you'll discover why chinook salmon are the king of all salmon, along with their life stages, food sources, and predators. Like everything else we make, this study is open-ended and can be adapted in many activities for many age and skill groups.
