Shipping

All of our items are shipped via Canada Post. If there is a strike or other unforeseen circumstances, we will continue to ship using another carrier, and if you have already paid for shipping beforehand, you will not have to pay any additional fees. If we cannot find a carrier to your location, we will contact you via email to see if there is another address you’d like us to send to. If we cannot ship your item as a result of carrier challenges, we will fully refund you after we have discussed options with you. If Canada Post returns your package to us as a result of COVID-19 border closures to your country, we will reach out to you via email to find out whether you’d like us to hold your item until the border reopens, or refund you and cancel your order.

WAIT TIMES BEFORE SHIPPING

Because everything is made by hand, shipping and wait lists vary. Eek. I know that’s probably not what you want to hear, but it’s the truth. On average, items have a wait list of 2 weeks, especially for the Foldable Climbing Triangles, and the custom name pieces (like the name puzzle or the name board). This wait list is organic and shrinks or grows as demand rises and falls. It definitely increases as of November 1st each year, and Foldable Climbing Triangles usually have a wait list of 3-4 weeks near Christmas. Please purchase your Foldable Climbing Triangle and ramp BEFORE November 15, 2020 if you are in North America, and want it for Christmas.

LOCAL PICKUP

If you live in the Sea to Sky Corridor or the Greater Vancouver area and would like to save shipping fees and come pick up at our location in Squamish (and meet us! My favourite part of this gig!) please use the code LOCALPICKUP when you check out. If you are purchasing a Foldable Climbing Triangle with the pick up code, please indicate in a Note at checkout whether you would like your climbing triangle assembled or disassembled. If you’d like it assembled, please measure your vehicle space, and take into consideration whether you’ll have the car seat in the back, other family members, or your favourite fur buddy who may not want to have a lot of wooden rods pressed up to him.

BIRTHDAYS

Let’s face it; birthdays are a big deal. I’m a mom so I get how critical it is to have your gift ON TIME for the big day. If the birthday falls before 3 weeks from the time you’re on our website, please reach out to see if there is a way we can fast track your order to get it to you as soon as possible. The closer you live to us, the greater the possibility is to get your birthday gift on time. We have definitely made miracles happen and have coordinated birthday gifts from family members all around the world, so things are possible!

ADDRESS VERIFICATION

Please please double and triple check your address when you make your purchase. We have had a few items returned to us (much to the crushing chagrin of the parent) because Canada Post couldn’t recognize the address the way it was written. If you live in Canada and want to check that the way you write your address is the way that Canada Post understands it (which is the way local and federal municipalities write your address), you can go to their Find A Postal Code web page and type in your address (link: https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/kb/details.page?article=how_to_use_find_a_po&cattype=kb&cat=sending&subcat=generalinformation) 

Transit Times

Alas, we are in a global pandemic without a predictable end to the uncertainty it has created. Despite this, we and our shipping carrier(s) are working hard to get your goodies to you as quickly as we can. Please understand that unforeseen circumstances like wildfires, snow storms, hurricanes, and other acts of Mother Nature (including COVID-19) can and do cause disruptions in the postal service. While we wish we could just fold our arms, blink, and insta-transport everything to you, that just isn’t possible. Sigh. Once your goodies leave our hands, their adventure to you is out of our control. Postal carriers are real people with real hearts who are doing their best in this global situation. We know it’s tough but patience and kindness go a long way. If you can, plan to order far ahead (especially if you’re not in North America) for those big events (like birthdays, Easter, Back To School, and Christmas or Hanukkah) to give us plenty of time to make your item and get it into the post to you.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed and received before NOVEMBER 15, 2020 ARE GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE BY CHRISTMAS FOR NORTH AMERICA ONLY. For everywhere else in the world, orders must be placed and received by September 22, 2020 for guaranteed Christmas arrival, unless you select Air (not Surface). All Air orders to Europe and Australia must be received by October 1, 2020 to guarantee arrival for Christmas.

CANADA: Basic shipping is tracked and can take up to 10 business days (14 to 21 days for larger items like the Foldable Climbing Triangles), depending on where you are within the country (sometimes it can be as short as 2 days). If you would like to receive your package sooner please choose a faster shipping option when you check out.

USA: Basic shipping is untracked air. If you would like your package to be tracked please select a different shipping option when you check out. PLEASE include your phone number in a note when you make your purchase; our customs form requires it and not including it may delay shipping to you.

Europe, Australia and around the world: Basic shipping is untracked surface and CAN TAKE UP TO 12 WEEKS (which is why it is so affordable). If you would like to receive your package sooner please select AIR when you check out. If you would like tracking on your package please choose that option. Regardless of the method you choose, PLEASE include your phone number in a note when you make your purchase; our customs form requires it and not including it may delay shipping to you. We promise that we will not share your phone number or address information with anyone other than our shipping carrier(s).
