Stacking and Nesting Bowls

Three beautiful nesting bowls allow young ones to begin strengthening muscles and cognitive skills essential for development, all while playing.

The three bowls nest into one another, allowing toddlers to begin working on concepts like small and big, or prepositions like in and out. Flip the bowls over (more vocabulary development) and stack them, and your little one practices hand-eye coordination and further spatial relationships like on and under. He or she will also begin learning about cause and effect if the bowls fall over or are knocked off. Add one of the wooden numbers from our number puzzle, along with some felt flowers and you've got an imaginary tiered birthday cake.

You can also count the bowls or add them to your dry sensory bins filled with rainbow rice, decorative sand, or dried beans for scooping and pouring. Or you can store your loose parts in them, or present dry snacks.

The possibilities are endless.

THE DETAILS

The set comes with 3 bowls of incrementally different sizes, the largest of which measures 5 inches in diameter. The smallest is 2.5 inches. The bowls are 2 inches tall and made from locally sourced alder. They are finished with a vegan wax and oil blend that is certified food safe, although we do not recommend offering berries or other wet food.

SHIPPING: Please note that as a result of COVID-19 shipping times are all over the map. EEK. Some arrive faster than others and some seem to take a while. Unfortunately, I have no control over this although I really wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything appear instantly from my place to yours.

CANADA: Basic shipping is tracked and can take up to 10 business days, depending on where you are within the country (sometimes it can be as short as 2 days). If you would like to receive your package sooner please choose a faster shipping option when you check out.

USA: Basic shipping is untracked air. If you would like your package to be tracked please select a different shipping option when you check out. PLEASE include your phone number in a note when you make your purchase; our customs form requires it and not including it may delay shipping to you.

Europe, Australia and around the world: Basic shipping is untracked surface and can take up to 8 weeks (which is why it is so affordable). If you would like to receive your package sooner please select Air when you check out. If you would like tracking on your package please choose that option. Regardless of the method you choose, PLEASE include your phone number in a note when you make your purchase; our customs form requires it and not including it may delay shipping to you.
