Description
Black bears are often misunderstood. Their movements are seen as a potential attack, when really they would rather be left alone.
This set of flash cards contains illustrations and explanations for 7 common black bear movements to help you understand what the bear may be trying to communicate to you.
The set is divided into two sections for different skills. The first contains simple vocabulary words that could be used with toddlers as a fun movement game, or with older kids who are learning to write. This set also includes 3 part cards to help kids learn to read or write the vocabulary words.
The second set includes explanations about what the bear may be trying to communicate, e.g. trying to attack or hoping to be left alone.
There are many ways to use these cards, but all of the ways offer exposure to black bear body language – and hopefully helps to save your life, and that of a black bear.
