Balancing Snails

Snails have captivated the hearts of our kids for years, so it was only a matter of time before we created a snail set to develop hand-eye coordination and inspire a myriad of garden-based activities. These original snails are made from Canadian maple and painted with a rainbow-inspired coloured stripe along the back to match the set of balls from our balls and bowls set.

Little ones who have mastered putting balls into the bowls can add the snails to their play, as they use one hand to hold the snail and the other to place the matching ball on its back. Be careful! It's trickier than it looks, as your child learns to find the "sweet spot" of balance with both the snail and the ball.

Later on (or with the help of older siblings or an adult) kids can connect the snails to balance and create a variety of shapes and forms, either lying down or stacked on top of one another. Can you make the letter "c"?

The snails are approximately 3.5 inches in length and are made from Canadian maple. The set comes with all six snails, each of which has one of the following colours painted: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

They are handmade so please allow 2-3 weeks for this set to be made.
