Whether it’s learning your ABCs, that the letter “b” is made of a ball with the stick on the left side, that “cat” is spelled c-a-t, or that the longest word you can spell with this puzzle is “uncopyrightable”, this will be an indispensable resource for your child’s literacy journey.

Description

The long-standing argument is that knowing the order of letters in the alphabet won’t help you to read, but knowing the sounds associated to each letter will. Use this puzzle for a variety of activities to fire those connections in your child’s brain and deepen the association between letters and sounds.

The letters have been painstakingly created to match the proper formation taught in the early years programs, with the “true a”, the “q” with the tail so that it isn’t confused with a “p” or a “g”, and the “j” with a hook and a dot that is visually separate from the bottom line and hook.

The letters are made of walnut and the puzzle board is made of one piece of Canadian maple. The board measures 19 inches in length and 10 inches in height (longer than a sheet of legal paper).
